What does it take to be on the Combat Weapons Team? I really want to join, but im in CA so i dont have access to any good rifle to train with and I dont go shooting very often. Would they expect me to already be a superb shooter or do they train the new team members and create great shooter?

Does anyone have experience with any of the boots? I'm not sure which to get. Also how do I know if they fit as they should? I don't want to be issued new ones at the academy if they see that the ones I already broke in don't fit as they should.
