In addition to the other responses, my recommendation is to go to a school you (and your parents) can afford. Pay for knowledge, not pedigree. With very few exceptions, where you go to school has no correlation to success or income potential in your career.

USD was very generous, but they are also very expensive. DD received a $25,000 Alcala Scholarship, and a $10,000 USD scholarship. The school is allowing DD to apply the Alcala Scholarship to housing.

DD 4 year NROTC-MO to University of San Diego. USD is allowing her to apply other scholarship money towards room and board. Honors dorm has a view of the ocean. Still CPR for USNA but plan B is firmly in place.
