The Insider posted previously that some candidates that received TWE's on April 7th would yet be awarded a FFS. It seems to me that they haven't gone back to those TWE's to select FFS for them. That's good news for many!

Those of you that received TWE's today... are you still in the running for prep school, or did it say that prep school was also out? My DS's TWE said he was not being selected for either back on April 7th.

Yes, I believe that to be true. There are some USAFA prep school appointments already offered (more will be coming), but I've heard nothing about Falcon Scholarships as of yet.

I am beyond speechless! This is infuriating!

Check the appointment thread. They are starting to go out.

I'm still slightly confused if these Falcon scholarships are more for academic reasons or for anyone who didn't get an appointment.

If they don't announce Falcon scholarships until later, should you already have applied to the prep schools? Or, is there still time to apply?
