    Princeton AROTC

Hey, I have applied to both Princeton and the ROTC scholarship this admissions season. I got the 4 year full tuition scholarship there. While I decided not take it at Princeton, the ROO emailed me and congratulated me. She also straight up told me it plays a role in admission. They point out...

Active Duty vs. Reserves and Civilian Career

Mk, lemme clear some stuff up: My family def can't afford Gtown or any of the the prestigious schools (Princeton, U of C) that I have gotten into without AROTC or loans, barring I don't have a rich relative in hiding or something. (being Middle class sucks for aid at colleges lol). Also, my...

Active Duty vs. Reserves and Civilian Career

Thanks for the advice ya'll I recently found I was accepted into the University of Chicago in additon to Georgetown (but Gtown is still my#1). Active Duty vs. Reserves and Civilian Career

Okay, so I'm really gonna evaluate during that freebie freshman year. Also, that's pretty much I could afford a school like Georgetown or any of the Ivies I got into even with generous aid options. But luckily I got a full ride at OSU (non rotc) so I can fall back on that if I decide not to go...

    HOYA Battalion/ Georgetown AROTC

Hey, so I've posted before, and I just wondering if anyone knows about Georgetown's arotc program or anyone involved. I have my heart set on Gtown SFS (International Relations and Arabic), and received a 4 year tuition scholarship there, and am looking to accept. I applied early to GU and...

So I have been perusing the Facebook pages and website of Georgetown ROTC and the Hoya Battalion, and I'm really excited! I think I have my heart on accepting the scholarship at Georgetown! I just hope I get in to the school. I emailed my admissions person and notified them that I won a...

That's true. I'm giving both Georgetown and Princeton hard looks. Hopefully I get into GU SFS early, because that would make decision much more clear cut

Got a 4 year ARTOC Scholarship... Now What?

Chicago has both an ED and an EA application. I applied EA to Georgetown and U Chicago. They are both open, and I am completely free to apply early. Maybe you are confused because Chicago used to only have EA, but this year that created an ED program? Now there are two ways to apply early at...

Got a 4 year ARTOC Scholarship... Now What?

Quite honestly, ROTC is the only way I could afford college at any of those reach schools at all (Gtown, Pton, UChicago). I have good, but not as prestigious schools that I would attend should things fall through (OSU, University of Cincinnati, a few HBCUs). I actually want be in the army too.

Got a 4 year ARTOC Scholarship... Now What?

Thanks! Georgetown already contacted me, so I'm just waiting on Chicago and Princeton. I'll probably accept it a Princeton, since it plays a role in admissions, and is the most expensive/ prestigious of all those schools. Even though all there are fantastic universities

Got a 4 year ARTOC Scholarship... Now What?

Okay. Here is the thing tho, I applied early to Chicago and Georgetown so I'll know if I got in before I accept, but if I accept the scholarship at one of those schools, will Princeton not be able to put a word in for me at admissions? (I'm applying RD to Princeton). Like I said, I'm otherwise...

Got a 4 year ARTOC Scholarship... Now What?

And you have to accept to a particular school at that point? What if I don't know what school I want? Also, acceptances won't be out at that time yet, right?

Okay just found out that I recieved a four year scholarship to my top 3 schools: Georgetown, Princeton, and UChicago.
