Son has been told he is being submitted for a 3.5 upgrade. Fingers crossed. But we have used the GI bill to pay his tuition. Is there a way for the VA to take the money back so we can keep that 1/2 year for our other child? Or are we just going to have to take the refund? Thanks

DS submitted his transfer request a few days after accepting the scholarship from the second board. E hasn't heard anything. I think I remember the paperwork said they would announce by April 20. Has anyone heard anything yet? If so what board were you offered a scholarship on? Thanks

DS received a Type 7 today. Received an email. He had met earlier board and was reboarded for this last board. I was surprised because in the reboard letter they said results would be out 10 April.

I searched for this but didn't see anything come up. Why does Army issue 3 year scholarships? What do they get out of it? And do they give them out more for people going to pricey schools or is there another reason? Thanks

Since the last round of results came out there are still two boards meeting before Christmas from what I understood reading here. (One the last week of November and then one this week, or next?) Will either of those boards release results before Christmas?

My son retook the SAT. His original composite was a 31 and he improved to 32. But his math score is better on the earlier test, 33 on earlier, 31 on this test. The change came from 3 point increases in reading and science and a 1 point increase in English. Do we submit the new score or not...

My DS has been contacted by two Army ROTC units after submitting his scholarship package. One of the schools is in his list of 5 schools, and one wasn't. Is this normal?

So for the three different ROTCs, what happens after you are (hopefully) notified of receiving a scholarship? Do you have a certain timeline to accept? I know saying yes to a college doesn't have to happen until 1 April. Is it similar for the scholarships? Thanks
