Son finally got his NETFOCUS issue resolved. It was a transposed digit in his SSN. IT tech in Pensacola had it sorted out in less than a minute via telephone call. Hardest part was navigating the phone options when he called the help desk. On to NSI Iteration 2 😎

We are planning on attending with my father. Our son will be the 3rd consecutive generation of our family to begin their Naval Service at Great Lakes. My father went there for Recruit Training in ‘61, I went there for Recruit Training & EM “A” School in ‘87.

Don’t sweat the admin side or ship’s movement. If you get a spot at either NAPS or USNA, your ship will cut orders no different from any PCS move. The Navy will get you to either Newport or Annapolis in time. Keep your chain-of-command in the loop.
