Army boards are weird, even for promotions, schools and commands. You can put the exact same candidates before two complete different sets of board membership and get completely different results even with specific guidance and select objectives. Ride it out. Great things will happen!

Don't be bummed! This is the hardest board to get picked up on by far! I had limited hope for this board for my son but one still hopes. I feel much more confident about the next one even if it is a million years away. You'll be fine! Hang in there!

As an aside, if they have different phases at different installations, they can do school DITYs from each place but side trips don't count.
