When you take the physical test once you go to college are the sit ups with the hands behind the head or crossed on the chest? I'm getting different answers from different people.

Best advise is to read up on the news local and national. Also if you are planning on applying for ROTC or to an Academy tell them. It is a veteran organization remember. Also speak up, speak clear, dress nice, no jeans look professional and look them in the eyes and give a firm handshake...

We know a young lady who was offered an ECP on this board, in reality does she have a shot on the third board. Also was this offered because she was not as competitive as other applicants and finally if she turns it down to gamble on the third board could it be offered again?

What is happening to you is not fair I agree, like we tell DD create a paper trail. Email in the future so you can backup what you are saying to prove what is happening. Also get your parents involved, let them be the bad guys right now.

I don't understand your comment would you explain further why you are amazed and how they were impacted by the schools trying to fill the ECP at the schools. Is there something wrong with the Ecp program? Just questions not looking to fight just trying to educate myself.

How does that differ from the ECP program? Also as to what you were saying about units not wanting to take on SMP cadets does that hold true to the ECP program as well?

My DD will be attending in the Fall, how do your children like the school so far? She is an ECP student did they go that program as well?

My DD was offered one, and in our opinion it is fantastic. She was competing for an ROTC scholarship but this is a great deal. What school are you going to attend?

She choose the ECP program, it was a better offer in the long run, so basically the SMP if i had to make a connection as we are still learning about all of this. We know a lot of the issues people have with the ECP is maturity, but that will not be a problem with her. She will have to sign up...

Our DD will be enrolled in college and either the Guard or Reserves simultaneously, so besides one being on the state level and the other national, what are the major differences. Also she can not be deployed while in school, if deployment is a factor.

Your DD's program sounds like a very solid one, do you mind saying where she is going to school?
