DS just removed himself from the waitlist after accepting an appointment to USNA last week. Best of luck to everyone on the waitlist. Hope to hear of some appointments very soon!

Haven't seen one for this year yet, but last year the swearing in schedule shows 1800-1830 with 20 minutes following that for a final goodbye with your plebe.

You can add one more to the appointments from self preppers at NWP for USNA. My DS was a free agent and received his appointment earlier this week. He is on the waitlist at USCGA, but will attend USNA.

Same letter for my DS and he wasn't EA this year either. Must have been a form letter that was also used for EA waitlist and updating the wording for that sentence was missed.

I think that is a good plan. Since he hasn't taken the ACT before it would be good to get a starting point so he can focus his prep work. He may find that he is really strong in one or two sections and can double his efforts on the other areas. There are some decent online test prep options...
