Has anyone heard of a NROTC College Program which only provides for a first semester academic probationary period for first year/freshman participants?
We always had a pleasant experience with DoDMERB on the phone in connection with my son. It took several months of back and forth paperwork/records, but in the the end, he was cleared for the Naval Academy. However, he never received a nomination.

NavyNola, thanks for the reply. Does this changed GPA standard apply starting in June 2016 and to all NROTC mids regardless of when they started NROTC? For example, the same GPA standard applies to a NROTC freshman and a NRTOC junior? Also, what was the GPA standard pre-June 2016?
