West Point has a National Waiting List for candidates who didn't make district selection. Don't be discouraged, most people I personally know who went to USMA and USNA got in on their second try. If it's your dream, prove it to them, time shouldn't be a factor. Best of luck, keep your chin up!

I was just informed that I was put on the National Waiting List, however, received a nomination from both my Senator and congressman. Does this ever happen? The Regional Commander sent a the notice saying that information will be collected up until February, is there any way to remain competitive?

Sorry to hear that, I checked last week and got my PDF of declination as well. Luckily I plan to take this in stride and my BGO and current cadets say to that this does not mean that you are a poor candidate and that you should continue to apply. Best of luck to your daughter!

I applied to SLE and NASS in January, I haven't heard back from either, there is the "official" cut-off date, but how late would last-minute acceptance letter be submitted? Also is there any way to update SAT scores for NASS? SLE has the whole portal system, so updating is easy.
