Hi, sorry to jump in but I'm sort of in the same boat as you. However, mine was caused from running cross country at local college and training in the wrong shoes, the injury is still persistent. I have followed the above advice and it has helped a lot. The most important thing to do with these...
The portal was updated in the official correspondence tab to say "Waiver Approved". My medical status changed from waiver requested to qualified shortly thereafter.
Yes, sorry for the confusion. The waivers were granted within 3 weeks of the request. My point is if you don't get an offer this year, reapply next year and it may be a entirely different story!
Sorry to bring up another question, but are there any benefits of USAA over other banks? I'm 18 and already have an existing checking account back home. I just want to save the trouble of opening an entirely new account somewhere else. Thanks
Denied by USMA last year, same situation. DoDMETS drug their feet on the remedial appointment and I was too ignorant to schedule my own appointment. I waited months and found out the waiver would not be granted because of the time. Reapplied this year and got waivers from 2 academies within 3...
I was just wondering what A-Day entailed. Who can come, and for how long will I get to see them? Also I've heard it will be 8AUG this year, is that true? Thanks
Hi guys, so I was looking over all the dreaded paperwork I have to complete before inprocessing, and I accidentally submitted the tattoo form without knowing where or who to send the attached paperwork to. Can anyone help me out? Thank you
So I'm in a similar situation as mrdolphin. However, if I dropped the class now it would show up as a "W" for withdrawal on my transcript. I currently have a C and I know I can raise it but it is not worth the time. Could the Academy rescind my appointment because of the "W"? Thank you.
From what I understand, if the Academy requests a waiver on your behalf, they are deeming you competitive for an appointment. Only a small percentage of the incoming class is granted waivers. So.. it's a good sign, but not a certainty.
Every district get an appointment if and only if one person is fully qualified( physically, academically, medically) on the slate. That's how about half of the class is filled, which is about 535. If no one is fully qualified, no appointment.
