Believe it or not...we've had several Mids reach out to us and want to attend (in whites) - it's great and the appointees feel much better after speaking with the Mids.

You can keep your scholarship. My daughter is a Plebe and she returned a scholarship only to find out later (when all the paperwork arrived) that you can use that to offset costs associated with the Academy. If necessary, the Academy allows you to deposit the funds. Keep it.

Great advice! My wife and I were thinking just the opposite...bigger group for I-day and less on PPW. I think we'll switch it up...but will ask DD her thoughts.

Portal and email offer at nearly the same time (2/15). Received official letter via us mail (2/18). DD accepted (2/15 ) and now in the process of sending in required documents. Never heard anything from MOC.

I thought the same thing. I knew someone else in MA-6 had already received an appointment but DD got one. I think USNA admissions does a lot of shuffling!

Don't know, and from what I've read, there's no way of knowing. No notice from MOC, just portal change and email from Admissions.
