There is a new format for the ACT that has not been fully incorporated into the USMA candidate portal system. The old system consisted of the #/36 score, but now the format is out of 12 for writing, where the scores of two "scorers" are averaged and rounded to make your final score.

I talked to my school counselor about it just to see what she thought, and she said that the combined Eng/Writ is no obsolete due to the use of a Plus Writing on the new version of the ACT. I think it is just that the WP website isn't quite updated yet.

Is it possible to leave from Boy's State a day or so early, or is the event cumulative up until the end? It cut's into Philmont for Boyscouts, which I hold to be very important to me, but I understand the role Boy's State plays into the admissions process.

When I filled out the application for the SLE, I entered in my test scores for the ACT, but the "Comb. Eng/Writ: " didn't show up. When I look at this on my application file, it shows it as Comb. Eng/Writ: 0. There is no way to change this and it is not official, but will it affect my chances?
