Quick question for anyone who may have been in the same situation or may know the answer... I am to be awarded my Good Cookie 5 days after induction day to the academy this year. Does anyone know if I will still be able to get that medal although already having received my DD-214? Any insight...

Yeah I tried to get them last Christmas over RA and hey didn't heal quick enough :( So I would need a large chunk of time.

Are you allowed to get your ears pierced at NAPS and if so would they have to be taken out for any reason interrupting the healing process? When would you be allowed to do so ?

Your BGO interview is done with your CO. If he wants to sit down and talk to you he will, if he doesn't he'll just sign the endorsement and you'll mail everything in.

Thanks! And what about the time between NAPS and USNA? From graduation from NAPS and I-Day at USNA is about a month and a half from what I'm gathering. What if you only have half that amount of leave days left from NAPS? What will happen then, will you stay at NAPS until I-Day at the academy?

How does the whole transfer process usually work from NAPS to the academy? For example, for a prior enlisted if I only have a certain number of leave days saved up, what would happen when those leave days are used up?
