Got a call from DS from school... TWE came via email. He's talking reapplying after semester of college. Plan B it is. Good luck to your son. The bright side is that tomorrow he turns 18; at least it didn't come tomorrow.

He's a retired CPO in Navy, and no. Retired post divorce. We explained that it was for DS and not me, but he refused. It just sucks... a potential nomination taken from him.

In the event DS does not get in this year, one nomination he's eligible for but could not apply for is the Pres one. My ex refused to allow us copy of his DD214. Is there another way to get this document? TIA...

Any more news for TN? DS just checked portal... still CPR. Wondering if anyone else has received word on way or the other?

I cheer for each kid when a name and number is added to the list yet know that's one less slot available for my DS, cringe when I read of someone receiving a TWE, but honestly, I also breathe a little sigh of relief knowing my DS is in CPR still, and feel guilty for that. Trips to the mailbox...

No TWE today...

DS is Blackburn (07) but no word yet.

DS has his back up plan in place, but it's not the USNA. Prayers for no TWE and notification soon to the positive. Positive thoughts to all. I know this is hard for you kids; parents too- waiting for dreams to come true...

Has anyone from Blackburn district received appointment? I believe at the reception there was one that had. Does anyone know how many slots are filled for her with USNA? Praying and waiting for DS...

DS is still CPR as well. It's driving him crazy and he's starting to lose hope. It kills me to see him this way...
