Reapplicant question...."DOA" with a 2.5 from Texas A&M Engineering/Corps of Cadets for the fall semester? Or should she still send the transcript and complete her USNA application? Worth the trouble? For what it's worth, she didn't play around....she absolutely busted her tail.

So.......DD received an invitation today to a "Blue Chip Dinner" from the USNA North Texas Alumni Association. Sounds pretty cool, anyone in N. Texas have past experience with the event? She's pretty excited! The Commandant is scheduled to be the guest speaker.

DD got the unfortunate "disqualified" status from DoDMERB today due to motion sickness. USNA and NROTC applicant. I suppose I never thought of hers as more than mild/typical car motion sickness. So.....assuming USNA views her as a competitive candidate, is a waiver possible? Or is she.... done...

This may be an odd question, but my instincts tell me it's not: a couple of DD's nomination applications require a photo of her to be included with the application. Suggestions for that pic? Hair up/down? Camera shot at home? Background? Dress options? I would assume a formal uniformed JROTC pic...

DD did the CFA today at NASS and thought she did pretty okay. Maxed sit-ups and at or slightly below the averages elsewhere. Does the USNA let them know verbally or something how they did while at NASS? Or is that something they just find out later through the application portal or elsewhere?
