Hi! Looking for info from others who have gone up to West Point to cheer on the teams for the Sandhurst Military Competition...anyone, anyone?

I would love advice and info from any parents who have attended the Sandhurst Competition at West Point in the past. We are headed there this year. Our son was there last year, but we honestly had no idea that parents could attend to cheer the team on!

Question...it appears that all of our TWE's said the same thing. No Prep School option and no appointment. It also said there is no waiting list...yet MANY have posted that they were declined and then offered an appointment later in May. Does anyone know of that's a thing??

TWE here in FL. Looks like lots went out today. Ugh...what an arduous process for everyone. DS had plan B already rattling around in his head. This forum has been our saving grace this past year. Godspeed to everyone on here. They all end up where they're supposed to be. DS plans on AROTC at...

Does anyone know of you always hear via the portal first? Seems like some get a call from the MOC, then a letter or some other option. Just curious if it's always an email first.
