Been looking at MC, thinking about it, but have questions. What are my options for commissioning? Is there a Best way to do it? My GPA is not that spectacular due to family stuff going on last year but so far this year things are going better.

3/C here did NROTC last year and did not like it and have found since then that I want to commission into the Army. I do not know what to do to get the ball rolling on that not do not know what I want to do other than infantry/ infantry support.

Would also like to say that you will not be running at your pace. You are running as fast as the slowest person in the platoon. Run hills for a set time (20-30 minutes). I did not know this and it definitely hurt me.

With only 10 days until Matriculation, are there any "little things" anything that cadets (current or previous) found would've been nice to have? And what type of watch should I get? I know of people getting G-Schocks, but other people are getting/using Fitbits. Any recommendations?

If Navy is a no-go, what branch has the best Intel (both in active duty and retired) options?

Not Navy? I know that most Navy contracts go to STEM majors, but I thought Naval Intel was the place to go.

Can confirm, at STP right now and it is a blast!!! Boots and lows are a real pain to break in, but once they are it is a dream. Also getting a chance to meet BRs while you have the time before ratline is a huge plus.

Are we supposed to have just a duffle bag or something? I'm looking, but I can't find anything helpful. The New Cadet Handbook says that we need a "lock box". Is that any different, if so how large is it supposed to be?

What size trunk do we need to have for matriculation? I saw a small trunk at a local store, but it wasn't very big.

I've looked on the old New Cadet Handbook for things I need to have by Matriculation, and it seems like a lot. 14 pairs of compression shorts???? Any suggestions where to get all this stuff?
