My c/o 2024 cadet said they were notified today that there would be less pilot slots for 24 and 25 due to backlog of those waiting for pilot training currently being 1-1.5 years. He was pretty upset to read that.

Don't you need the English course for the letter of rec from the English professor? It was my understanding that, as a college re-applicant, you could not go back and use your high school English teacher for this requirement.

Most years, yes, civilian dates are allowed. I don't believe dates were allowed for the class of 2022, due to covid restrictions. Things seemed to be back to normal for the class of 2023.

If your reporting time is there saying 7:30 and you don't have a BCT squadron, it is likely a default time and will likely change 2 weeks before I-day when you get your BCT squadron.

I'd be shocked if anyone had their reporting time now. They might see a "default time" at 7:00 am, or something, but reporting times are usually sent out along with the assigned BCT squadron about 2 weeks before I-day.
