DS’s status changed to qualified yesterday after we sent in medical records. We’re assuming we don’t need to follow up with the exam and letter from his coach that were also requested? Once he’s qualified, he’s qualified?

As I understand it, it has to do with the OML. The top 1000 get the four year, so that’s why someone might be upgraded after the third board - they were higher on the OML than the newer applicants.

We’ve gotten our remedial request for AMI, but I can’t see how to submit it. It’s not in the letter and I can’t find anything on the DoDMERB site. I’m thinking we just email it to our assigned rep. Is that right?

Same here, DoDMERB portal says “remedial requested” but DS hasn’t received any request. Will it come by email or snail mail? We’ve been collecting medical records so hopefully we’ll be prepared when the request comes through!

My boy just let me know that the ROO at his chosen school called to let him know he was upgraded! I’m so excited for him! I had decided it wasn’t happening since it’s been a few days since the announcements. Hope we’ll hear from more with upgrades.

Our son’s DoDMET portal says “Incomplete-closed” and “All of your examination records have been received, reviewed by a Concorde case manager, and sent to DoDMERB.” I’m so confused! Is it incomplete or have they reviewed all of his examinations? I guess he needs to call, but does anyone have...

Well, we haven’t seen any change on the portal upgrading from 3 year to 4 year. Fortunately, I don’t think this is even on my son’s radar, so I’m the only one who’s disappointed. Has anyone else been upgraded?

There were no instructions to do one before the other for AROTC.

He won’t have his vision exam for a couple of weeks, but has some issues on the physical that may go to remedial. Will they process the physical before they get the vision? We’d like to get rolling ASAP!

My son had his DoDMERB exam the other day. He said they asked him about his questionnaire and did a very cursory physical. Is that it? We thought they would at least do a blood draw.

My son received his winner’s letter in the mail yesterday, but there’s no letter on the dashboard or in the file upload section. The letter said to mail his response back. It sounds like there will also be an option to do it through the portal?
