    Interesting its October 22 and hes still not contracted. Sounds like everything is going very well BUT not contracted. The Army has paid his tuition at a private university. (no stipend yet) Last week they sent him to help recruit. I was in NROTC at same school.

    good advice-even as a 4 year scholarship winner and passing the PFT you will not contract for 6 weeks. (and get your stipend) Not sure why it takes so long but it does. Im assuming you dont contract ver year?

    My son has a 4 year scholarship and is a MS1. The lack of information concerning "contracting" is rather disturbing. I was NROTC , ( years ago )but I dont recall anything like this delay about "contracting". Its October 5 cadets have been there since August.

    My son received a 4 year scholarship and is enrolled in school. Army paid tuition already. He passed physical and PT although he has to do remedial PT. Grades are very good but it seems no one has contracted? CO says it might be in few weeks but no stipends have been paid either. I don’t...

    Are there any NROTC program rankings?

    Interesting issue-I would agree you have to focus on the school-BUT some schools tend to be much more supportive of ROTC. Villanova ROTC has tremendous support from the University and Augustinian Friars.
