Hello, If one has a BA and goes to basic camp with the intent of doing ROTC for grad school, but afterwards decides to not pursue grad school and apply for ocs instead, would they have to still attend BCT before OCS, or would basic camp suffice for that requirement? Thanks!

Thanks - but it does say that some people receive a scholarship before they’re sophomore year though, and I’ve known people who have had a 4 year scholarship. So it seems that it’s possible to receive a scholarship before doing any ROTC at all?

This is a question that has always bothered me: if one looks at a military base overseas, like camp Zama for example, the units that are stationed there are listed. It will say 1st intelligence battalion or 1st infantry division or something (examples). Yet units rotate out every year or so...

I know that you can work for the military as a civilian, and being a lawyer is one of those career paths. I think for navy it’s called office of general counsel, and their website seems to say that they hire recent grads.
