Is it possible the second nomination is from one of your senators? I’ve never heard of getting 2 nominations from the same source.

Don't tell yourself no. Send in the best application you can (while being honest about your suspension) and let USMA decide. If you don't apply, the answer is always no.

I have no idea. They might just update the portal, or they’ll send an email, or they’ll just notify through snail mail. Any way they choose, your portal should reflect a nomination (or not) by the end of today.

I have not. They called at around 4 or 5 PM EST last year. Maybe they'll call, maybe they won't.

I was told by the MA senators that they hold off because they try to “spread the wealth.” At this point, it’s no use worrying about the reasons why it takes so long. We will all know in a few days anyway. Hang in there

To all of the recent posters here from MA, Markey's nomination decisions have been made but they have not notified anyone yet. This is what a staffer told me during a phone call on Friday. I was told to call back Monday (tomorrow).

I filled out the form for the Secretary of the Army nomination because I am in SROTC and thus qualify for this nomination. I believe this just puts you in a pool of candidates who are eligible for this nomination, but it's not the same as applying for an MOC nomination and I don't really know...
