No, DS was asked via email this week (Wednesday) if he was still interested and would he accept if offered. Then the BFE was waiting for him when we got home today.

Joy at last here in Texas. DS got his BFE... I have my fingers crossed for Lbug and BurntENDZ, I am hoping to be able to buy you both drinks next month!

looking at last year's appointment thread - yes and a while longer too! we are hoping the waver deadline of 5/15 opens a couple of slots for the few of us left.

Thank you for the encouraging words, but those of us still in Hold status know that the odds are shortening every day... it's hard to keep the faith! I am sure I am not the only parent who is balancing hope and the realistic chances of getting the appointment.

Does West Point send out TWE's to applicants who do not have a nomination? My DS did not get a nomination, but has also not gotten a TWE.
