They are narrowing it down and it becomes more and more borderline the closer you get to i day. They are definitely thinking about you and just know if you don’t get in, hearing back about it this late means you were probably a really hard decision to make.

You may get an email denying you to Navy and then later on an offer to NAPS, or what happened to me is I didn’t hear my status on the academy in the end, only that I got in to prep. But they won’t send you more than one package; its either one of the two acceptances, or a declination.

We will get them around May 5th, but we pretty much know if we’re hitting the standard and are out of trouble that we’re in at this point in the year

People come to NAPS even if their sport isn’t here, but foundation is more likely for those people I think. We don’t have girls’ lax or volleyball, or sailing but we still have one or two of those athletes enrolled here
