I can't believe we still haven't heard anything! It seems like on this forum there have been many more NO's than YES's. Our BGO officer keeping telling us that they are building their class, and there is a good chance for a YES still. I hate to have false hope though. Any thoughts?

Haven't heard a word. No news is good news, but last year we waited this long and get wait listed on April 3rd. I thought they try to notify the appointments by 3/31? That's what makes me nervous.

Okay, thanks. My son was on the waitlist last year -- found out on April 3. The closer we get to that date, the less hope we have.

So the magic date is 4/15? Did I read somewhere that appointments hear by 3/31?

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm afraid my son is going to be in the same boat. We are still waiting, and he just finished his "knob" requirements at the Citadel. As I tell him, there are many roads to the same location. You will still serve and be an officer!

No! I heard from my BGO that 8 people in our area are still waiting. She describes as moving puzzle pieces around to build the class.

It seems to me that time is running out. My son was waitlisted last year and heard that news around March 26th. The more time goes by the more anxious we get. Is there still reason to hope?

Right. I should have been more clear. I mean for the appointment process ... do you know if the "transfer" kids compete against the other transfer kids applying or do they compete against the whole group? It seems like they leave about a third of the class open to kids coming in from other...
