Best AFROTC program, and for future pilot

I've heard that UND is a great school for aviation, same with Purdue. I figured Embry Riddle for me because I know I'd love the location and I've been looking into it for a couple years now. That's awesome for your daughter, best of luck to her!!

    AF Pilot...

I agree, I have both the desire to do both. Since a little kid I've wanted to fly any aircraft but primarily fighters. I also think it is greatly important though to give back to our country as serve, after all it has given to me. I would honestly say I may be a bit disappointed if I may not end...

Best AFROTC program, and for future pilot

So I am definitely applying to the AFA, but I want to know how AFROTC works a bit. Do you apply to AFROTC after you get excepted into a college, or before? As for as colleges go I was looking into Embry Riddle as it is one of the best for aviation in the country. I live in Virginia though, so I...

    Appointment chances

I played football my freshman year and varsity basketball my Sophmore year, but because of my internship every day I do not have time to participate, like I'm working everyday till 5 so since most practices are after school I couldn't commit...

    Appointment chances

Yeah I know they really value leadership. My strongest point in that is being an officer in NHS. I would play sports like I did in 9th and 10th grade, but with my internship I'm working till 5 or 6 every weekday so I wouldn't be able to commit to a team sport unfortunately, although the...

    Appointment chances

I don't want to sound too eager here, but I'm just asking for anyone's honest and truthful opinion on my chances of getting appointed to the AFA. I'm a Junior in HS right now and am aiming for the 2023 class. My GPA is about a 3.8, I haven't take the SAT yet but my PSAT is 1130 (pretty bad I...
