I don’t know if it’s a matter of berating anyone, just getting to the bottom of things with questions that the staff won’t tell a candidate , particularly one with a principal nom .

With the USAFA they don’t notify candidates if they are 3Q like the other academies , which is what’s so frustrating and different than the other ones .

Seems odd to me that he had principal nom but got non-select, unless he was deemed unqualified for some reason. He should reach out to admissions counselor or the nominating authority for answers....

Sorry to hear Jumpman2023. DS is in same boat , second year , did everything the ALO told him to do to improve app, got non select this morning . Your certainly not alone !

EagleLegion14 so sorry to hear that ! DS in same boat reapplicant haven’t heard from him this AM but I’m guessing TWE in mail . You worked so hard , I don’t understand . They say the academy favors reapplicants but I’m really doubting that now . I hope you have a plan B that you will be happy with !

Yeah, it actually wasn’t even anything that was on our radar for the last two years he’s been med Qualled. He called dodmerb who said it’s not them that makes that determination it’s the academy . Well then why does it show up in dodmerb website ? He can’t get ahold of admissions right now...

Ok , just wondering because DS is not PPQ and has no idea why or how to find out . His eye exam doctor told him he has pilots vision so I don’t know what the other factors are in the determinations ....

I know it’s just so funny how they pick and choose . He also had mild eczema as a child and that didn’t raise red flags but I have read other kids who had similar histories who were DQ’s and had to either get a waiver , and some were denied ! It’s all very inconsistent .
