Interesting. I am not sure if we asked that queston specifically.. but one of the schools did say to us they needed 4 Nursing Cadets. That was the only school that specified a number to us.

ROO (can I say names?) is a fantastic guy. Very on top of things, responds quickly to questions and really cares about the kids. My son was not accepted to main campus but ROO is fighting for him with admissions but he's got a tough major that is very selective. We really enjoyed ROTC...

OK, We are overjoyed. We just found out we are a winner of a 3 year AROTC scholarship. When we started this process we had 7 schools in mind for School of Nursing. Of the 7, he was accepted to 1 pre-nursing, 1 nursing and the other 5 just to the university but not nursing(2 of the state schools...

For those looking back to this stream next year, my sons portal did not go back to boarded. He stayed under consideration until he got a Winner.

yes.. thank you. And now I have a West Pointer who has gone through Academy and is a 2nd LT and now I have an ROTC winner so I guess I'll have some things to share .

It's the military folks. Things change and you aren't told why. Also, learn to wait... and wait... and wait.. : )

To avoid and nerves on Friday, one of the CO's in charge of the ROTC at one of my son's college choices said he wouldn't have the list of students with scholarships until April 1 (not before) so if it's not changed by tomorrow then Monday is most likely.

I wouldn't over think it. The process is boarded to u/c to won/lost. It's the Army.. things change all the time.

I'm not reading into if it went backwards to 'boarded' or stayed the same 'boarded/uc'. The workflow moves from boarded to under consideration to won/lost if reading it correctly. We'll all see when it happens. As for timing, we visited the ROTC office at one of my sons colleges this past...
