Thank you for this! My DS received his TWE April 12th and it kind of turned his world upside down. It is not that he has not moved on but it unsettled him and is now not very focused. He is visiting Embry Riddle this weekend and plans to enroll AFROTC. Your post is very helpful. Thank you!

I am glad I was not the only one taken back by some responses! This is an institution based on integrity and honor. If they have to bring it up to you, it will turn into something it did not need to be.

I found that reading some of these posts to my DS really helped. I guess he felt less alone, gained perspective.

I hear you! Every desicion he made...Getting geared up all day for plan B though. DS knows he can improve on academics and that is the plan.

Thank you! That little bit helped, always useful to regain perspective. I will continue to steer my DS to focus on plan B.

What I find most difficult about this wait is trying to assess what remaining as a candidate at this date means. To make matters worse, it seems that the majority of the posts in this forum as well as the posts on USAFA's Admissions Instagram have moved on to Class of 2023 and BT countdown. What...
