Yes that is correct he did not get an EA slot, nor did several others in the detachment who were non STEM majors. The only non STEM majors that made the cut had a GPA higher than 3.6 and my son fell short.

Thanks! This is helpful info. He was training to be an AF special tactics officer so the APFT shouldn't be a problem. He's been advised (by his Dad) to talk to the AROTC ROO as soon as possible.
