    I was told recently my file status is "admissible". Just curious if this is determined based on WCS or simply academics (i.e., ACT/GPA).

    Were you in need of a medical waiver or not meet the CFA requirements? I was told most LOE holders that do not get an appointment have another issue

    Disagree. While it carries no guarantee of appointment, it is not "meaningless". Few are sent and it identifies you as a highly competitive candidate

    Right. I'm aware of that. However, the Admissions page says the following: West Point combines the highest math and verbal scores from either test to evaluate your competitiveness. https://www.usma.edu/admissions/SitePages/GeneralAdvice.aspx

    Just curious if USMA looks at all four sections of the ACT or just Math/English. My scores are solid but my highest are Science and Reading
