So I have just received a nomination from my senator and I have received a letter of Assurance this past September! I am so excited to be one step closer to becoming Mid next July!! I do have a question regarding this though. Does the LOA guarantee a letter of Appointment with all of my package...

Is it acceptable to attend the CVW by yourself? I am planning on going to the 12-14 in November, but my parents are not able to attend. I have seen some posts that say they are going with their parents, is this still ok?

I received an LOA dated Late September pending a nomination! Congrats to all. Just a quick question regarding this letter. Do your 3 MOC's take this letter into consideration with your nomination package? Or is it just something to add to the application, and they can choose however they like?

I have just received an LOA from the Academy. I am wondering if I need to do anything and contact my Congressman to let them know of this, and if it will help me obtaining a nomination from them. Also, do all Candidates take part in the visitation program? Or should I plan separately to...
