Are you more likely to receive an active duty or reserve/NG commission in Army ROTC?

I am a contracted 4 year cadet and am still waiting on my first stipend pay. Does anyone know when that will come? I contracted in late Sept.

How long is IBOLC after you commission as a 2LT? Does the length of training vary depending on if you are guard, reserve, or active? As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I did some research and it said both gaining and losing PMS have to sign off on it. If the losing PMS says no, what happens from there?

For the Army ROTC 4 year national scholarship, is it possible to do 8 years of reserve service. 2 weeks in the summer, one weekend a month? Can you also pick the place you drill at? As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

If you are a 4 year scholarship, when does your commitment go into effect? I have heard sophmore year? if you don`t like how the first year goes, can you drop the rotc scholarship with no penalty or commitment of service?

Also if someone could help me with this. How time sensitive is this matter? Should I contact the new school I wish to transfer now and meet with my cadre now? Or can I wait until after the first semester. As always, any help is appreciated.
