I take it that washout means they failed out? What exactly does that mean at UPT, academically or the actual flying or both? What happens if someone does wash out, where do they go?

Many civilian colleges are known to rescind acceptances for poor senior grades. Does USNA rescind appointments also?

With all due respect to your parents, this is your application. I would recommend notifying all nomination sources. You have nothing to lose at this point.

Medical and fitness disqualifications usually hear earlier although as @shiner pointed out there are exceptions. The majority of candidates who got TWEs the last couple of years all found out on the same day in April.

Have you contacted your ALO? They can administer the CFA. Keep your Admissions Counselor in the loop about your difficulty in scheduling.

Remember to order your score reports from ACT and/or SAT. Last year there was a candidate who thought he submitted everything and even received a nomination, only to find out in March that he was disqualified because he forgot to send in his scores. We don't want to see that repeated.

This is true in our district and in our state. We have both high quality and quantity of applicants in our district. Most do not get a nomination. In our state we have over 600 applying to senators for noms. Many don't even try because they think it's akin to winning a lottery, bad idea not to...
