Hello all, I’ve heard in the past that some candidates were able to receive a congressional nomination from a district that they did not reside in. Or, if there were available slots, that the MOC could nominate the individual of another district. Any commentary is appreciated.

Your DS should check his profile on the dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil website and it should be listed if he is PPQ or CQ under the “current medical status” for US Air Force Academy.

I am aware of the reason that I am not PPQ, which was evident from the beginning of my DoDMERB process. I appreciate your concern! It hurts to know that a falcon scholarship is no longer on the table.

There are several of us who are CQ on this list. You would just be DQ with a pending waiver.

There is a chance you can receive a height waiver for the Academy. However, it is very hard to get one. I was told that if I wasn’t within a half inch from 4’10, that they would not grant a waiver on my behalf. Thankfully, I qualified through DoDMERB at 4’10.
