accepted!!! Woo hoo! DS got an email today from VT's admissions telling him to check the update of his application status..... He's in!!! We are all very excited here - he'll be a cadet in the class of 2014 - hopefully on an AROTC scholarship!!!

We haven't heard anything yet. DS applied ED at VT and is hoping for an AROTC scholarship there as well.... Believe me if/when we hear anything, we'll post!!

Thanks for posting that info. We did contact the PMS at VT and found out the my son did not make the cut this first round - and he mentioned the bar was set VERY high - so congrats again to those who got an offer :thumb: We'll hope for the best for the next board - Dec. 1st ish. thanks again...

I agree! I can totally identify! This waiting is so hard!! My son is much more patient than I am!
