    Tree Nut Remedial

You can always apply for a waiver- maybe it won't even show up. It's pretty low to cheat on this test before even getting to the academy, and it'd suck if you got in, they found out, and kicked you out. Respectfully from a third time applicant, don't put yourself and another prospective...

    Re-applicant advice

I'm a third time re-applicant and got accepted this year also. I'd say get involved in college- participate in research and club opportunities in whatever interest you. Keep your grades up and take STEM courses. Get to know your professors so they can write you good letters of rec.

    Re-applicant advice

They asked about my SAT in my interview and I responded politely stating that I had completed up to differential equations/linear algebra college level courses where algebra II is foundational. So clearly I had mastered and excelled beyond the topics on the SAT.

    Following The Path

I had to apply three times before I got my acceptance. I'm a double engineering major at UC Berkeley and they still rejected me a second time (got accepted this year). I was very physically and academically qualified- I'm not sure why it took three times. Tell your DS to keep applying if it is...

    Rejections?

My last two rejections were April 21st (or around that date) on the last day- it was a big wave of rejections where about 95% of the people still waiting heard

MOC Call in Support of Application

I believe appointments are ultimately up to the academy. As previously stated, the MOC can express support for a candidate by giving them the principle nomination. I also believe in putting up a fight (which is why i'm here... a third time lol) but I don't plan to go to extreme lengths until...

MOC Call in Support of Application

I am in the same situation... third time applying and third time receiving a nomination from the same MOC. However, they do not do principle nominations in order to give every applicant a fair choice. I have felt inclined to ask my MOC to vouch for me, but I've held back because I agree it is...

    College before reapplication

I was actually asked about my SAT score in my interview this year, it is above average but definitely could have been higher. I simply stated that I'm excelling in higher level math and engineering courses where the topics on the SAT are foundational, implying that I have mastered SAT topics and...
