Question....so your son was denied for early action? then was contacted in March and offered a CGAS appointment? I didn't know that would happen. Do you think it was because you were looking at a self-prep option? I actually looked at MMI but they do not offer my son's sport.

We are curious as well what were some factors especially if DS wants to reapply.

Curious to know how long the qualified/approved status is good for. For example, DS completed his in March and did not receive an appointment to the CGA. If he reapplies in the fall does he need to redo everything?

Good luck to your DS. I feel very similar. Maybe now was not my DS time but there is always next year if this is where he is meant to be.

Wrestling. Thank you--he has several offers but this was his first choice so now to pick the next best fit. Competed at a National Tournament this weekend so got a few more looks so that is good.

DS received bad news as well. Hits harder since he was deferred from EA so the wait has been longer. Now to revisit his Plan B's to determine which is the best fit academically and athletically. I think he will see how he feels after the disappointment starts to wear off and see about...

I am so sorry. Did he get notified today? We are still waiting. My son is competing in a National tournament this weekend so don’t want to ask him to check his Bears Den. Did he receive email first to log in and check his portal? Was wondering if we wouldn’t hear anything now until Monday.

Do they typically wait to do CGAS this late as well? I guess I am asking if he hasn't heard anything could there still be a shot at a CGAS?
