Could you post a pic of the envelope (name and any personal info covered obviously)? I’ve seen USNA’s BFE but I’ve never seen USAFA’s and am curious what it looks like. (Anything to tide me over waiting lol.)

USUALLY before the BGO. My plebe that I had for my CVW in September was given a heads up by his BGO that he should be on the lookout for “an early Christmas present” (I forget if it was a LOA or BFE)

I have received both an AF and a NROTC Scholarship offer, but am still CPR for USNA with a Nom. I don’t know when the last board for NROTC is but I’m sure you should hear before too long.

Based on what my BGO said... use it to show that you’ll have support, so you will hopefully be successful, that you and your family are committed to service. Your personal statement is an opportunity to brag on yourself and explain why they should pick you, your merits, etc

Also if you’re looking at A&M and the Corps of Cadets, come do a spend the night with the Corps event if you can. It’s only $15.50 plus the cost of getting there. I’ve done multiple (I’m a Texas kid) and there are always out-of-staters there. They give you lots of info, but it seems really...
