DS received NROTC scholarship to 1st choice school today. So thankful for everyone on this forum for their help throughout this process. To those still waiting, I wish you the best of luck.

Are NROTC battalions selective based on the colleges they include? Would an individual, who is applying for a scholarship at Tufts, be competing against individuals from Harvard and MIT to get a spot in that battalion?

What branch are these upgrades for?

Any idea of the latest date we could hear back from the scholarship? I know that people heard back last year as late as April 30, but is there an official date?
