I love the freedoms that are offered at my current school as well as a more diverse learning environment and student/cadet body. But Im used to the system here and am excited for the upperclassman lifestyle that is coming up.

I love Army ROTC and serving in the Army is really my only immediate goal, so West Point actually detract from me getting to commission sooner.

I recently received word that I am going to be appointed to the Academy, Im currently a college freshman and am 1 year away from my french minor and am going to pursue a minor in Russian. If I were to attend West point would I be able to complete my minor in french and then pursue a russian minor?

Do West Point cadets get better chances of getting their branch of choice and place of posting than rotc cadets?

At vt there were cadets who played football in addition to ROTC and a very intensive Corp of cadets
