I heard via email at 1am on the 17th and it was updated in the portal when I checked. However .... strange side note the digital acceptance letter reads 4/10/19 as the date received although I’m positive it just showed up today. Must be a weird glitch in the system.

Most MOCs don't notify ahead of time - including mine. If I did have a MOC that called I wouldn't check the portal as much so I get what you're saying.

I think the Monday Tuesday information is helpful because you know to check your portal twice or thrice that day and then don't expect to hear on other days. Also helps to keep your mind off it. I guess it's different for everyone.

Thank you for answering these questions! I’m curious when you say you kept updating your application and that you never left it stagnant. I’ve completed my application and am a CPR but it’s still possible to email admissions and update them? Or once your application is complete are you done?

@Moondog Thank you! The whole reconfiguration of the GPA is interesting. What does WCS stand for/mean? I’ve heard two different acronyms.

My GPA has always been listed as 4.03 which it’s never actually been. Right now it’s a 4.21 so I’m confused by the whole GPA thing.

Thank you @usna1985 . I think I saw this elsewhere: the people who don’t win the slate but still have a nomination are then selected out of the national pool. Is that correct?
