Sorry to hear the news. One thing struck me as odd. I thought the SAs would only request a waiver for a DQ if the DS/DD had received a LOA? The idea being why dedicate resources to a candidate when there has been no decision yet. I can see how getting the waiver would cause you to think all was ok.

Yes, it does seem strange that the medical waiver is still pending but there is an accept/decline option available. Mind games for both parent and DS.

Thank you for the reply. That was my understanding as well but was curious if USMMA, USNA and NROTC all use the Navy's BUMED for the waiver review? If they did one would think that BUMED would apply the same criteria to one waiver (or denial) as they would to the other requests. It makes sense...
