This scholarship was for Marine option sideload 2 or 3 year scholarship. This is not for the National 4 year scholarship. If that is what you are waiting on, I would contact whomever your DS/DS did all their paperwork with.

Our DS heard from his unit today and was told the board did finish up last week and they should be hearing something by the end of next week.

Nothing that I’ve found in the search gives dates on when sideload scholarships would be announced. I know the applications have just been submitted, but curious as to how fast decisions are made.

Correct-letters were sent home but we were advised not to send any letters during the parent Q&A. Based on your statement I guess a few went ahead and sent letters anyway to the candidates.

No letters were able to be received by the candidates in NSI1. They would not receive in time prior to departure with the processing involved. We were advised not to send anything.

Without getting into further details, please do not use Dodmerb consultants. I am speaking from actual experience with this guy. We got our DS medical waiver resolved within a few days ourselves. Your on the right path.

My DS school didn’t graduate until this last Saturday. He had a very short regulation haircut and watching the live stream we saw that he is bald now.

What do our kids travel in after the graduation? Uniforms issued? They only had the kids who fly in pack an extra set of clothes for today. I haven’t seen anything posted about this or instructions on what to wear.
