Totally understand! My DS got his waiver Monday and then the offer came Tuesday. He stayed in contact with his admissions counselor and continued to check in with DODERMB throughout the whole process. When did you have your surgery?

Did you ever hear back on your waiver?

My DS is USNA and is in exactly the same situation. We were told that the 4/15 date did not apply to him. That may not be the case for all academies though. We have stayed in contact with his admissions counselor and let them know that all paperwork has been submitted to DODMERB.

Thank you so much! We did hear back today from DODMERB and they said that DS is in the “queue” to be reviewed. Hopefully he will get an answer soon but for now we wait.

If DS has and LOA and is still waiting for a medical waiver will he get a decision by the April 15th deadline? Or does that deadline not apply to him? We have contacted admissions but haven’t heard back.

I’ve read through this thread and am curious as to thoughts on our situation. DS has a LOA but we are still waiting for medical waivers. He received more remedials last Thursday that we are frantically trying to get records together to fulfil. DS has a full-ride Plan B that he has to accept...

First time post, long time lurker but DS has a LOA and we are still waiting for medical waivers. He has a solid Plan B but USNA has always been his #1 goal.
