    Is this right for me?

Going Navy. If you join the Blue side, you have to realize that there is always a chance you might be going submarines or going surface warfare. Your dream of wishing to fly should be second to that of joining a particular service in order to avoid disappointment. It's the same for going Dark...

Prospective transfer from ASU to UW?

Well thought of moving to Seattle came out of the blue for my family too, which I never took into account when I chose ASU. Don't get me wrong, I love the NROTC Unit at ASU and the university itself. Its just probably more convenient for my parents since the cost of room and board would be out...

Relationship between a Senior NCO and a Junior Officer

So I was watching Generation Kill the other night and I was wondering: Do Senior NCO's such as a Sergeant Major have to "bow down" (lack of a better term) to a Junior Officer or (other way around?) or is there more of a special relationship between the two?

    NASS advice, tips, and suggestions

Same here. Last year I was determined to be a Marine, but thought Subs and SWOs were also BA's after all the service introductions even though the Marines had the best presentation. But in the end, however, USNA wasn't for me and decided NROTC was best for me since I'm 1st gen American and the...
