    Medical Exam on I-Day

the medical exam is really simple... you stand in a line to make sure that EVERYTHING is in order before you begin Plebe Summer. This means... immunizations (if you haven't gotten them already...), a sit down with a doctor (less than five minutes), and, if nothing else is wrong with you, you go...

    7th Semester Transcripts

My CIS profile says that my transcripts were updated this Tuesday (10 March)... but I didn't send in new transcripts, and neither did my high school. The last time I sent in transcripts (in December), they were updated two weeks later. I don't know if it is worth asking the admissions office/BGO...

Life at USNA - A dumb question

There are laundry facilities in Bancroft, along with the laundry service. So mids can do their own laundry, plus company laundry on whatever day laundry day is.

    Walk on athlete (lacrosse)- USNA

Since everyone is required to play a sport, wouldn't walk ons essentially be a norm? Maybe not in all the sports, but something like Track and Field and Rowing seem like exceptions, considering how huge their programs are... I know a couple of mids who walked on to the Rowing freshman team...

    CWV

Agreed! The CVW was AWESOME, and has made USNA my goal! This was the first time that I was able to see the midshipmen, and it was an eyeopening experience! Instead of listening to an admissions brief, actually SEEING the mids personally and how they lived put everything into a realistic...

    Multiple Letters

When I asked the RD about the multiple letters (I have received two Scholastically Qd Letters), he told me it must have been a glitch in the system, since the letters print out automatically. Even though I had received multiple letters, the system only recorded me as having been mailed one.

    Effect of waiver on appointment

Medical Waiver does this mean that even if a medical waiver has been granted (in my case, a medical waiver was granted, and my status returned to qualified), i will still be considered a "special case" to the admissions board? In other words, is the medical status just a "yes" or "no" on the...

Terrible BB Throw... I haven't exactly played a sport that involved the coordination of throwing muscles (i'll just say that to start!)... I've been a CC and track runner for the past six years... For starters, here are the scores that were submitted to USNA: BB Throw: 39 ft:eek: Pullups...
