Just got SNA for NROTC service assignment! Feels very sweet to have gotten here! Hopefully it continues from here!

Is it possible for stashed ensign to stay at their school for an additional year to finish their masters? My advisor was saying that there is a remote chance that could happen, but no gaurantees of it. How often does that happen?

Thankfully we can put down normal SWO and one SWO option, and yea it really hurts those who actually want to be a SWO. Doesn't make it easier for us aviation folks either. Has anyone else heard this at their NROTC commands

Any rumors on how this actually impacts service selection? They have already nicely forced us to put subs on the list by allowing us to put only one SWO option? So are they gonna take less pilots and more NFOs? Or just less in general?

Thank you all! For those who are struggling with the stick stuff, I highly recommend you invest in a small joystick the speeds on the practice simulator are definitely harder than the real one!

Well if anyone is interested in update 2.0, I recently was sworn into NROTC at my school. Guess my journey took a while, but its proof that sometimes things don't always come directly. Hopefully this time I can see it through. On that note anyone who got aviation out of NROTC any advice?
